​What do I have to do to receive my bill by email?

REGISTER on the EAC website by clicking HERE and activate your profile with the One-Time Password (OTP) that you will receive on your mobile phone. If you already have a password, just CONNECT . Under "My Bills", select to receive your bill by email and choose the Charitable Organisation that you wish to support with the money saved by not being sent a paper bill and press “Submit" at the bottom of the page. You can also do this from the EAC Mobile App using the same password.

Alternatively, print the form Application for e-bill​​​​​​, complete and sign it and deliver it to any EAC Customer Centre. You may also send the scanned form by email to callcenter@eac.com.cy

​If I already receive my bill by email, can I still enter the prize draws?

Yes, of course. If you already receive your bill by email, you will automatically be entered in all the prize draws.

What can I win?

Every week, 10 lucky entrants will win a gift card, Prezzius Flex Card, worth €100 that can be redeemed at more than 50 stores all over Cyprus.

E-BILL PRIZE DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. ​​​ ​The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (“EAC"), in its capacity as a Supplier, with CTSO licence no. 69X3SNVL36AHNIQS and CERA licence no. Π1-Ν.419(Α)/ΠΘ1- 2006 is organizing the present prize draw entitled “E-Bill Positive Energy for All" (“the Prize Draw") as a promotional activity. It is hosted on the EAC website: www.eac.com.cy.
2. ​The Prize Draw is open to all EAC customers who receive their electricity bill by email and/or apply to receive their bill by email by 6 January 2025.
3. The period of the Prize Draw's validity will be from 8:00am on 25/11/24 until 12:00pm on 20/1/25.  
4. Participation in the Prize Draw presupposes the unconditional acceptance of the Terms & Conditions of the draw and gives EAC the right to process the personal data of the Participants and winners for the purposes of the Prize Draw. 
5. Valid entries in the Prize Draw are those that have been submitted within the timeframe of the Prize Draw and have complied with the participation process described above. EAC bears no responsibility for the failed submission of information or for missing information.  
6. Participants who fulfil the conditions referred to in point 2 above and submit their participation correctly (“the Participants") will be entered in the online Prize Draw to determine the lucky winners. If a winner refuses or fails to accept their prize, the immediate runner-up will receive it. 
7. In total, 80 lucky winners will be drawn. The prize for each winner will be a gift card worth €100. 
8. The draws will take place every Monday at 10:00am at EAC Head Offices. The names of the lucky winners will be announced to the winning participants by email and by telephone straight after the draws, once the validity of the entries has undergone the necessary confirmation check.
9. In the context of the Prize Draw, EAC will maintain a register containing the personal data of the Participants and the winners [full name, email address, account number and telephone number], which will be processed for the purposes of conducting the Prize Draw. The processing of the above data is considered essential for the holding of the Prize Draw and the delivery of the prizes to the lucky winners of the Prize Draw. The above data will be retained until the expiry of the gift cards.
10. The Participants, by entering the Prize Draw and submitting their personal data, accept and/or agree and/or consent that the Organizer will maintain a register containing the above personal data for the above purpose. The data will be retained only for the duration required for the purpose for which it was collected, in accordance with the existing directives relating to the protection of natural persons regarding processing of personal data. The processing of the Participants' personal data may be performed by automated or manual means for the purposes of the Prize Draw. The data will not be forwarded by EAC to any third party. Any query may be submitted to the EAC Data Protection Officer by email to dataprotection@eac.com.cy.  
11. Each Participant has, among others, the right to information, access, correction, deletion and limitation of their personal data, as well as the right to oppose the processing of their data, in accordance with the provisions of articles 12-23 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679. The above rights may be exercised by sending an email to the EAC Data Protection Officer at dataprotection@eac.com.cy
12. The gift cards are not exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. It is hereby clarified that EAC is not responsible for any case where the above prize cannot be awarded, for reasons beyond its own reasonable control.  
13. If a winner in the Prize Draw fails to redeem the gift card for any reason by 31/12/25 or if their participation in the Draw is cancelled or is inappropriate, they automatically and irrevocably lose their right to the prize.  
14. EAC reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entries and to exclude any Participant who attempts to interfere in the participation process or whose entry does not fulfil the present Terms & Conditions or who has provided false information. 
15. EAC reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Prize Draw in case of technical or other problems arising beyond its reasonable control which may harm the integrity of the Prize Draw.  
16. The responsibility of EAC is limited exclusively and only to the delivery of the gift card. EAC is not liable for any civil or penal responsibility towards any Participant or third party for any accident and/or damage and/or bodily or material damage caused to them that is related directly or indirectly to the gift card and/or its use. Moreover, EAC is not liable for any damages for any other reason or cause. 
17. ​Any dispute arising from the present promotional activity/Prize Draw, the present Terms & Conditions and any contractual and non-contractual relations arising from their implementation, will be resolved exclusively by the relevant courts of Cyprus in accordance with the provisions of Cypriot Law.
